This role will be a good fit for an ambitious data-driven content marketer looking to own that piece of or marketing strategy.
The Erlang Solutions Content Marketing Manager will help build our brand as world-leading experts in scalable distributed systems. This means working as a key cog in cross-functional teams to show off our innovation to the key decision makers in the industry. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Content Marketing Manager will be the ultimate steward of the brand, and creative mind behind our storytelling and digital spaces. Understanding how to create great content, measure its impact and iterate to continually improve and grow our channels will be key to success in this role.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will:
*Own the Erlang Solutions content marketing strategy - Lead our content marketing strategy across channels. This will include working closely with our Junior Digital Marketer and Growth Marketing Manager to ensure the content strategy supports our efforts on social media and on paid channels.
*Deliver a diverse set of content and channels - Finding the right fit for the right channel is key to success in this role, your job will be to plan, write and deliver content for blogs, webinars and emails as well as content for third-party partners where needed.
*Use data to inform future plans - Working with niche audiences makes data-driven marketing even more important. You’ll be familiar with Google Analytics and best practices for attribution to understand how to set leading and lagging indicators, and how to measure the success of individual content pieces and channels.
*Recruit, enable and activate stakeholders across the organisation to author and produce stories. Partnering with our talented technical team will be key to your success. You’ll need the ability to identify great stories within the organisation, work with partners to create them and to find the right channel mix to make the most of each story.
*Manage the Erlang Solutions website. Our website runs on a Wordpress CMS. As the owner of new content, you’ll be in charge of adding the content to the website and ensuring it is visible in the right spot.
*Lead the strategy of our Social Media channels. Working with our Junior Digital Marketing Executive, your job will be to help create a strategy and delegate work to ensure our social media channels continue to help us deliver high-quality business leads.
*Support other marketing initiatives at Erlang Solutions. As a small close knit team, we seek to ensure we’re collaborative and share knowledge. As a result, you will be asked to join a brainstorm and take on extra tasks from time-to-time.
We’re Excited About You Because You Have:
*A deep background in content creation and managing digital marketing programs from end-to-end
*A knack for storytelling and a love of writing both long and short form content
*Track record of building and managing a content calendar.
* Experience with SEO best practices, managing a Wordpress site, and brand social media accounts
*You understand how to drive value from and measure the impact of content. You identify patterns in data and use them to make content stronger and increase engagement and conversions
*Excellent verbal communication and project management skills
*Highly collaborative and ability to work with stakeholders of all backgrounds and levels
*Strong executive presence
*Experience sourcing and managing a bench of freelancers/agencies
*Obsessive attention to detail and high bar for quality
*Comfortable with ambiguity, nuance and building programs from scratch
*A proactive, solution-oriented, problem-solving mindset - “I’ll figure it out.”
*Thrive in a small, growing, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Creative Writing. 3+ years experience in content or digital marketing, or relevant roles
