Summary of Role

This is a senior leadership role where you will drive growth and shape the future of our software engineering consultancy. The ideal incumbent will have a software engineering background and will lead the team and grow the business through people-centred leadership. The primary focus will be on leading people and driving business growth through customer relationships. A software engineering background will be useful in understanding the principles that make the Erlang Ecosystem great, help provide a vision and direction for the unit while supporting business development efforts.

Responsibilities include

• Strategic leadership of technology and innovation, defining the direction of the team to meet growth forecasts and OKR’s

• Networking and driving growth initiatives to support sales and the business pipeline

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across other business units both within Erlang Solutions and the wider Trifork Group

• Overseeing customer projects and liaising with third parties

• Managing the team, ensuring utilisation and resource allocation

• Financial planning to achieve growth and EBITDA targets

• Oversight of legal and administrative tasks

About You

• An engineering background, ideally with a Computer Science degree (or similar)

• Proven experience leading software development teams with a good track record of retaining talent

• A consulting background, or experience from a services company

• People-centred leader that will build strong relationships and sustain a positive and trusting culture within the business unit

• Strong commercial awareness and strategic foresight, adept at market understanding and growth opportunity identification

• Ideally has a good contact network in the greater London Area

• Based in the UK and preferably within commuting distance of London.
